8-bit Metal Mondays: Position for a Redneck

Sorry for the lack of articles last week, but it was another round of job searching combined with a lack of funds causing some mucho drama in the homestead. I'm not one to air my dirty laundry for the world to see, but let's just say it was very taxing and it made doing any work on the site almost impossible. On the brighter side, it looks like I may have pinned down a jobby job! Nothing great, but in the shitty climate that is the Michigan economic crisis, any job is a good job. Speaking of jobs, or just the word "job", let's yap about a band whose nuts I haven't sucked enough of: Job for a Cowboy.

I attended the Between the Buried and Me tour this past Saturday, and JFAC got sandwiched in between the two progressive bands of the show (BTBAM and The Ocean). Turns out it was a great spot, as it gave a great balance for all the bands. Plus, JFAC RIPPED! Honestly, best performance ever by those guys. Pics were taken, and I'm currently sorting through them for a post either tonight or tomorrow. Depends if I can tear myself away for playing Divinity II long enough to finish it up.

In the meantime, how about some Job for a Cowboy bleepiness. Here's the track that got me into the band, Entombment of a Machine.
