8-bit Metal Mondays-A Concert Going We Will Go

At last, we're entering a video gaming "lull." E3's actually the start of it, as you get one huge blast of news before the summer hits. Then you don't get jack shit for three months. Looking at my gaming schedule, I won't be picking anything up until at least late August. This will be a perfect time to catch up on some other games that I fell behind on, and to also get my ass to some summer shows.

Next big show on the list is an interesting pairing: Iron Maiden and Alice Cooper. I'm sure this stems from Alice and Bruce giving each other verbal fallacio on their respective radio shows. Still, it's a great chance for fans to see a couple of legends play on the same stage. Myself, I have yet to see the Coop do his thing, which is a shame with Alice being a home town boy and everything. Maiden's gonna be doing another "classic" show, with material being played no older than their 7th Son of a 7th Son album. So, classic goodness all around.

In some bleepy celebration, let's listen to some digitized Maiden and Cooper.

  1. Cooper is an act that you have to see at least once. And Maiden is always impressive. When the tour rolls through The Peg, Cooper won't be with them. I will get to see Coheed & Cambria instead, and I'm fine with that.
