Randy Blythe In Jail: Faces Charges of Manslaughter

Sorry for the lack of posts, kids. Work has been doing the usual to me. Plus I haven't been getting a whole lot of sleep the past few days. Goofy ass dreams keeping me up.

However, I do have a few minutes to spare right now, and it's to pass along a shocker. Last night, Randy Blythe, the awesome lead singer of Lamb of God, was arrested in the Czech Republic on charges of manslaughter from an incident in 2010. Apparently, LOG had a show back then where a fan had jumped on stage and was knocked off by Randy, where he hit his head. How the injury exactly happened is still in question, or if Randy was even the cause, but the fan fell into a coma and passed away soon after.

Now, this thing just seems several different kinds of loopy. For starters, how come no one knew of the charges ahead of time? Are the Czech cops just lazy? Plus, it's been two years. No one could get the legal ball rolling until now? Either way, Randy's in some major legal trouble. Odds are he'll get bailed out in the next day or two, but this looming charge is gonna be one hell of an impact on Lamb of God.

In the end, I hope this gets sorted out quickly. While Randy has had legal difficulties, inadvertently causing someone's death just doesn't seem like something he would do, even in self defense.

From the sound of it, it sounds like he might have been having to do his own security. That's one thing I don't envy about being a rock star. You never know when the laws of the country you're touring in will bite you in the ass.
